You will visit the most important wineries and winegrowers in the area and see the wine-producing process shown in every detail from vintage to filling.

The trip continues to the
Colchagua Valley where you will relax in one of Chile’s most attractive small hotels, the famous Santa Cruz Plaza Hotel.
Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1   Fly UK to Santiago                                                                    
Fly UK to Santiago, Chile.  On arrival check-in to hotel to overnight.

Day 2   Cultural and Gastronomical City Tour of Santiago
Visit San Cristobal hill to have a panoramic view of the city, then descend on a funicular railway to stroll to the Central Market where you can have seafood soup and a glass of Chilean white wine. Then you will head to Santa Lucia hill, where together with a national artist, you can try your hand at creating a painting of  Santiago from your own point of view, accompanied with a glass of wine and cocktail "empanadas". On to lunch at the Zully restaurant, afterwards visiting the jewellery factory of Morita
Gil or Faba to watch the manufacture of silver work and lapislazuli. The day  tour ends with a visit to the Visual Arts Museum and the Archaeological museum where you can taste a Pisco Sour and traditional appetizers. Return to the hotel.

Day 3   Santiago                                                               
Lunch at the restaurant ‘Aquí esta Coco’ with Cooking Session.
In the afternoon visit to Concha Y Toro winery, one of the most traditional wineries of the Maipo Valley.

Day 4   Santiago / Santa Cruz                                                                                   
In the morning you  join the “Ruta del Vino de Colchagua”, a tour to some of the wineries of the area with a wine tasting session, guided by a local expert.  Afternoon visit to Colchagua Museum.

Day 5
   Santa Cruz – Maule Tal                                                                 
Today you  visit, for a full day tour, the Maule Valley, another of the most important viticulture areas of Chile. After a wine tasting in the morning you  will arrive at the Tobonko vineyard.  There will be lunch at the vineyard with  more wine tasting. 
After lunch you will have time to enjoy, if you wish, the health & spa program of the vineyard.  These services are not included in the cost of your tour.

Day 6   Santa Cruz – Santiago                                                                  
Visit Hacienda Lolol, located near the village of Lolol, drving through the beautiful landscape of the Colchagua Valley. Before you return to Santiago there will be lunch at the Hacienda with excellent wines being served to you..
On the way back to Santiago you visit the “Camino de las Ruedas”, ancient wooden water mills that are still in use (17 of them have been declared  a National Monument).

Day 7   Fly Santiago to the UK
Tour cost (Land only) from GBP 1,450 per person on twin/double sharing basis.

Tours operate October to December and March and April.
